Loan Modification Review

I took the time to review loan modification kits that can be purchased on line. I am a real estate agent and I was approached be a loan modification company that wanted me to find people that are struggling financialy. My job was to find people that wanted to do a loan modificiation and help them fill out a hardship letter. At which point I would collect 1% of thier mortgage amount and send it to a lawyer in New York City. He would then file the documents with the bank and start the negoiating process. The process takes up to 60 days or longer. If the bank accepts the loan modificiation the homeowner is happy because he now has a more affordable mortgage payment and he feels it is money well spent. I would recieve commission on the 1% that I had collected from the homeowner so I also have a payday. But, the attorney does not make any guarantee that the bank will accept the loan modification and if the bank does not agree the home owner is out of the 1% which could represent thousands of dollars. I think this is a scam. So if your interested in doing a loan modification I have already reviewed some good products. You will have to do the work yourself but some of the products have hands on help, and a guarantee. Take the time and check it out.
